Semi-Automatic Volumetric Vertical Filling Machines

Karmelle’s Semi-Automatic Vertical Filling Machines are ideal for small to medium batch-sizes. Simple yet versatile, they can be used for volumes ranging from 100 millilitres to five litres.

The benefits

The mechanical function of this filling equipment is similar to that of the Bench Top model, but better-suited to larger volumes.

Despite this increased capacity, it remains easy to use and control. The operator can manually place, fill and then remove the container from the filling table. Depending on your needs, the machines can have a gravity or power conveyor feed, and can also be connected to a capping machine.

Each machine is mounted on a stainless steel framework with a clean base frame to ensure stability and allow a pallet truck to go underneath.

A product tank is also mounted on the sturdy frame, and fitted with a close-coupled connection to the product pump and a clip on lid to fit any hygienic specification.

This tank includes a low level control sensor to signal when top-up is necessary, stopping the filler until the tank has been refilled. The inlet connection can be fitted with a hygienic valve, while the tank itself is equipped with a spray ball for CIP cleaning connection, allowing quick and efficient clean-up.

The software provided is state-of-the-art and self-teaching, calculating over or under flow and adjusting accordingly. This can be over ridden and entered manually if preferred.

The ‘rise-fill’ filling nozzle has an adjustable safety exit switch to prevent the nozzle from coming out of the container whilst filling.

The machine is controlled by Omron PLC, HMI and pneumatic logic, which is simple to operate and maintain.
