Three-Point Wraparound  Labeller

Adelphi Karmelle’s Three-Point Wraparound labeller system is designed to label cylindrical containers, ensuring accuracy, and taking into consideration any existing features of the container such as cartouche, handles, seams or labels and artwork present.

This intelligent labelling machine design allows for controlled release of containers into a 3 roller system (one power roller, two static rollers), which is easily adjustable to suit products with a range of diameters. Containers are subsequently fed to one or more labelling heads, dependant on customer requirements (e.g. front and back labelling, full wraparound, etc.)

Adelphi Karmelle’s Three-Point Wraparound Labeller is capable of applying up to 50 labels p/minute, dependent on the size of the containers. Labelling speed is limited due to the stop-start nature of machine, in comparison with direct wraparound machines where the bottles/cans/pots etc are moving continuously. The speed can also be affected by the addition of a label registration device.

This machine can be adjusted to label a number of different shaped containers if provided with spare parts. The labelling system is PLC controlled, with low-label and label out detection, which links to a flashing beacon tower.
