FZ4 Cap Detection System

Karmelle’s FZ4 Cap Detection System uses the latest in vision technology, integrating FZ4 Omron Vision Sensors which offer high speed processing and greater sensing performance.Foil Seal detecting is also incorporated as some caps lose their induction seal and there are no visual ways to determine if the seal is present.

Failed cap scenario will stop conveyor and alarm operations through Amber stop Beacon / Sounder.

Failed cap scenarios are as follows:

No cap present
No foil seal present
Misplaced cap on bottle
Incorrect cap height torque (difficult to set as bottle tolerance must be +/- 1mm)
